The Sea to Sky Hospice Society has been fortunate to receive significant support through recent fundraising events:

  • Charity Pickleball Tournament: Organized by Kai Bacon in honor of his uncle Peter, who passed away in hospice last summer. The tournament was held on the new Pickleball Courts at Brennan Park this past Saturday. Thank you, Kai, for your heartfelt tribute and generous support!
  • Annual Cold Water Swim: Katie Coombs and the Squamish Swim Wild group participated in their annual cold water swim at Alice Lake, raising funds for the Hospice Society. Katie, we deeply appreciate your dedication and the efforts of your team.
  • Saturday Afternoon Putting Competition: Hosted by the Squamish Valley Golf Club, this event is quickly becoming a cherished tradition. Managed by Scott Wengi, the competition featured a 4-hole course and attracted 203 entries over 5 hours, raising $2,030. Alongside the $1,190 from the 50/50 draw and an anonymous $2,000 donation, the event raised a total of $5,220 for the hospice. Congratulations to Graydon Kohne for winning the 50/50 draw!

The Sea to Sky Hospice Society extends heartfelt thanks to the community for their unwavering support and generosity. With gratitude, Leslie and the Board of Directors.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the many individuals and businesses that offered their support and time for the 18th annual Hike for Hospice fundraising initiative. This year, we achieved a new milestone by involving the most diverse teams ever, which helped raise greater awareness of the Sea to Sky Hospice Society’s programs and services within the Sea to Sky Community.

With 25 teams participating in a variety of activities—swimming, hiking, biking, golfing, dancing, and more, fundraising on behalf of the programs and services. Your support and compassion are truly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you to Sorca, Capra, Alice & Brohm, Squamish Golf Club, Swim Wild Squamish, the Squamish Lions Club, Will Ross, the Squamish Line Dancers, Muff & Doug Hackett (amazing face painters), Bonnie Golaiy, the STS Docs, Edie’s Girls, the Squamish Rotary Club, the Chair Raisers and the many teams that gave their support and time to make this annual event the success that it was!
