The Sea to Sky Hospice Society has been fortunate to receive significant support through recent fundraising events:

  • Charity Pickleball Tournament: Organized by Kai Bacon in honor of his uncle Peter, who passed away in hospice last summer. The tournament was held on the new Pickleball Courts at Brennan Park this past Saturday. Thank you, Kai, for your heartfelt tribute and generous support!
  • Annual Cold Water Swim: Katie Coombs and the Squamish Swim Wild group participated in their annual cold water swim at Alice Lake, raising funds for the Hospice Society. Katie, we deeply appreciate your dedication and the efforts of your team.
  • Saturday Afternoon Putting Competition: Hosted by the Squamish Valley Golf Club, this event is quickly becoming a cherished tradition. Managed by Scott Wengi, the competition featured a 4-hole course and attracted 203 entries over 5 hours, raising $2,030. Alongside the $1,190 from the 50/50 draw and an anonymous $2,000 donation, the event raised a total of $5,220 for the hospice. Congratulations to Graydon Kohne for winning the 50/50 draw!

The Sea to Sky Hospice Society extends heartfelt thanks to the community for their unwavering support and generosity. With gratitude, Leslie and the Board of Directors.

The Sea to Sky Hospice Society had a booth at the 25th annual Brackendale Fall Fair this past weekend. A huge round of applause to the wonderful volunteers that came out to assist with selling many pieces of artwork as we worked to raise funds for the programs and services that are provided for free to the Sea to Sky Community.

There was a fantastic turn out of people enjoying the day, kids rolling in the hay, racing zucchini boats and sampling delicious food. We sold many of our donated pieces and enjoyed telling interested people about the art and the Hospice Society services.

A big thank you to AJ of Canadian Tire for kindly donating two big folding tables that provided space for us to work off of, selling memberships and displaying artwork. Thanks for your support AJ!

We’re having a booth at the Brackendale Fall Fair on Saturday, Sept. 9th from 10 am – 5 pm. We will be selling artwork to raise funds for our programs and services that we provide to the Sea to Sky community. Show your support by joining us at the fair and taking home a beautiful piece of art for your home.

Come out tomorrow, Saturday June 24th from 8am until noon, at Alice Lake, to watch Katie Coombs and the other swimmers of ‘Swim Wild’ as they swim in support of the Sea to Sky Hospice Society! All of the funds that she raises will go towards supporting the programs and services of the Hospice Society.

We are so grateful for this ‘third party’ fundraising initiative being done on our behalf, thank you Katie for thinking of us!
