This summer the dream of having a gazebo grace the garden and offer a space for meditation and contemplation out of the elements came to reality for the Hospice Society. The project was created to provide an outdoor space for the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation Sea to Sky Community Hospice residents and their loved ones to visit and reflect.
Thank you for the endless support, time and energy of those individuals and businesses that made the gazebo happen! We are extremely grateful and appreciative of Ken Rhodes and crew, David Quiring and Carl Halvorson, the Rental Network, Cloverdale Paints, Adam of Pika Landscape, Kevin Salter, the Squamish Lilloet Reginal District, and of course, Dr. Judith Fothergill.
We are now ready to begin work on the Legacy Path to be created with engraved paving stones memorializing loved ones who have passed. The Memorial Garden / Gazebo and Legacy Path will be an important part of the heritage of the Hospice Society and we invite you to purchase a “memory paver” in recognition of a loved one.
Your donation of $250 for a “memory paver” will not only pay tribute to a loved one, but will also help the Sea to Sky Hospice Society build a strong foundation of programs and services for residents of the Sea to Sky community. Please watch for details about this fundraising opportunity to be announced soon!
