Every October 15, families around the world come together for the Wave of Light, lighting a candle at 7:00 p.m. and leaving it burning for one hour in memory of pregnancies, infants, and children gone too soon.

The Sea to Sky Hospice Society invites grieving families to join us for a gentle, non-denominational evening of remembrance, reflection, and connection in Squamish.

Together, we will make lanterns and light candles during this hour to honour and make space for our loved ones’ memory.

We will provide sweet snacks and warm beverages, along with all supplies, including candles.

Families who wish to bring their small children are welcome, with the understanding that all families will help create a gentle and supportive space for grieving.
