Whistler: National Grief & Bereavement Day
November 17 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Shine a light on grief support in Canada
Join Hospice Society Client Services Coordinator, Jody Kramer, and Grief Counsellor, Carlee Baker, for a conversation about Dr. Mary-Frances O’Connor’s book, The Grieving Brain.
Whether you have read the book or not, we’ll discuss what happens in our brains as we begin to understand the loss of important people in our lives.
Blending neuroscience, psychology, and real-life stories, The Grieving Brain explains why grief can feel overwhelming and how the brain adapts to loss. We’ll gather on November 17, National Grief and Bereavement Day. Snacks and coffee provided.
