Calling all Volunteers! 

Are you interested in volunteering for a good cause and giving back to your community?  Please join us Thursday, February 24 at 6:00 pm in the Whistler Blackcomb Sea to Sky Hospice Society in the Hospice Education/Meeting room for an introductory meeting.

If you would like to volunteer in the unit this is a mandatory meeting.

It will be nice to see new and familiar faces and to have the chance to  introduce Ashling Amato, the new Volunteer Coordinator.

During the meeting we will go over the unit etiquette, needs of the nurses, a  couple reminders, share upcoming opportunities, and inform you of some of the programs that will be happening this Spring.

There will be an introduction to the new volunteer program, Better Impact. We will go over logging in to Better Impact, using the system to learn of opportunities and to read communications from the Volunteer Coordinator. Please make sure to bring your cell phone as this can all be linked to your phone. If you want, you can download the My Impact App from the Play or Apple store before the meeting.

Last, we will make sure your records are up to date with a new criminal record check and confidentiality agreement.

We are hoping to host a volunteer meeting bi-monthly in the future as a way to connect, review and share interesting information.
