Brighten Up the Night Fundraising Campaign

The Sea to Sky Hospice Society is pleased to announce a new fundraising initiative taking place in December. Please help us Brighten up the Night for those in need. Starting December 3rd a large tree will be lit up with lights alongside Highway 99 close to the Sea to Sky Gondola.

Support your community by making a donation to a support a great cause. Help us Brighten up the Night as we light up the tree in celebration of the holiday season!

Buy a light for $100 and give back to your community!

  • $25 – Your donation will provide comfort items such as specialty teas & snacks, soft tissues, laundry detergents, and bathroom items, for patients and families staying at the Hospice Unit
  • $75 – Your donation will support the cost of volunteer and staff acknowledgments throughout the year. Small gestures to say thank you for the work, time and care everyone put in caring for people at end of life.
  • $100 – Your donation will go towards providing one on one grief counselling for an individual who has lost a loved one.
  • $500 – Your donation will support a two week stay at the Hospice Unit, covering the per diem fee for patients who cannot afford it.
  • $1000 – Your donation helps ensure ongoing grief support groups are provided throughout the year. This includes the cost of group materials, coffee/tea (in person groups), tissues and other supportive items for three 6 week grief groups annually.

Thank you for helping your community!

With your support we can ensure that the Sea to Sky community receives the compassionate care that they need through hospice programs and counselling services.

Your donation will help support:

  • Hospice services for those facing end of life, their caregivers, and those grieving the loss of a loved one, such as support groups, counselling, community connection and bereavement packages.
  • Comfort items for families at the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation Sea to Sky Community Hospice, including home furnishings, a stocked kitchen, laundry supplies, bath items, garden spaces and more.
  • Continued provision of a nationally approved volunteer training program.
