This spring is the 18th annual Hike for Hospice, and we want you to get active in the name of the Sea to Sky Hospice Society!


Join us for the 18th Annual Hike for Hospice fundraising initiative.  This spring is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Sea to Sky Hospice Society. We invite you to hike, bike, golf, run, do yoga, dance, swim or simply get active for hospice and make a difference!

Create a team and get pledges, make a donation and let us know that you care. Show your support for your community through supporting our important services.

The Sea to Sky Hospice Society exists and works so that you, your loved ones and your communities have access to supportive services and programs to facilitate a life well lived to the end of one’s life.  We also offer bereavement support for those experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one.

With your support we can ensure that the Sea to Sky community receives the compassionate care that they need through hospice programs and counselling services.

Form a team, enlist your families and friends, get pledges and get healthy by being active during this spring on behalf of the Sea to Sky Hospice Society.

Join  us on Saturday, May 25th from 12pm – 3pm at O’Siyam Pavilion and Junction Park as we celebrate our community and our services. Food, music, and entertainment for the whole family, young and old, will all be happening there!

GET STARTED!

  • Sign up by filling out the registration form below.
  • Choose to make a donation or build your own fundraising page that you can share with your friends and family.
  • Post photos of your commitment and support to your social media pages using the hash tag #hikeforhospice or #seatoskyshospicesociety
  • Help us reach our goal of raising $75,000 for our community by showing your support and joining the fun all in the name of hospice.

PARTICIPATE!

  • We use the term get active loosely.
  • Do what you can to show your support, armchair yoga, jumping jacks in the front yard or walking or biking on the trails.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF!

  • Reach your individually set fitness goals and collect pledges for the Sea to Sky Hospice Society.
  • Hike for Hospice is your chance to connect – to the community, the hospice society and to your own fitness goals!

CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING PAGE!

  • When you register you can create and customize your own fundraising page.
  • Share the link to your personal fundraising page with family, friends, co-workers, your neighbours, anyone!
  • Make your page personal, include what your challenge is, why you’re doing it, and why helping the Sea to Sky Hospice Society is important to you.

  • Take a picture and share on social media.

DONATE!

  • Your financial support goes towards ensuring programs and services for members of the Sea to Sky who are living with a life-limiting illness or grief.
