DESCRIPTION:Lunch Break Yoga for Care Givers \nJoin us weekly on Thursdays\, November 2nd – 30th\, 12 pm – 12:45 pm \nDrop in yoga and give care to you! \nContact Diana.Gunstone@seatoskyhospicesociety.ca to learn more or scan the QR code to reserve your spot. \n \nTo access the Hospice Program Room for this weekly program in November\,  please park at the Squamish General Hospital\, and enter the main Hospital Admitting entrance. \nTurn left after the gift shop\, and follow the “Hospice” sign\, down the hallway\, past the cafeteria\, pharmacy\, purchasing\, and outpatient physio to the elevator at the end. \nTake the elevator up to the Hospice / Hilltop House level\, and walk “the bridge” (enjoy the views) to the first hallway intersection. \nAt the first hallway\, turn right\, and the Hospice Program Room is at the end of that short hallway\, with windows overlooking the garden. \nPlease bring your yoga mat if you have one\, and allow yourself 7-10 minutes to park\, and arrive in the Hospice Program room. \n  \nWe are grateful for the support provided through BC Centre for Palliative Care.

DESCRIPTION:Share a tradition and gather in community for the 11th annual Memory Tree Event. \nThe holidays can prove to be a difficult time of year for anyone grieving. Take time to honour your loved ones that are with us in spirit\, during this evening of love and light. This gathering will be a supportive community event. There will be a candle lighting ceremony\, and a brief memorial for those grieving the death of a loved one. \nCeremony begins at 5:15 pm\, Friday\, November 24th\, at the Squamish Town Hub (behind Cloudburst Cafe). \nCo-hosted by the Sea to Sky Hospice Society and the Squamish Funeral Chapel. \nWe would like acknowledge the generous support of Home Depot for the trees and for their support putting them up and installing the lights\, Canadian Tire for donating the folding table to use for sharing our information\, and to Cloudburst Cafe for the delicious hot chocolate!
