DESCRIPTION:This is a bereavement support group that invites in a range of speakers for six weeks of two-hour evening workshops\, to provide skills for the mourner. Guests will share knowledge and experience on various topics. Experienced volunteer facilitators will guide the group\, giving access to peer support while also learning together and building skills in navigating grief. Participants come from various grief experiences. \nSessions take place from 6-8pm in the 55+ Centre Art Room in Squamish\, every Thursday evening from May 7th to June 11th\, 2026. \nThis group has a maximum of 12 participants for each session\, and registration is needed. DESCRIPTION:Join this facilitated peer support group to share your experiences with navigating grief and loss. This group is best for those who have had about 6 months pass since their loss. \nThis group gathers in the Art Room at the 55+ Activity Centre in Squamish\, for a 90-minute session together\, facilitated by experienced volunteers. Each week has a theme. This eight-week group works best when participants are able to attend all or most of the sessions\, although we do welcome everyone to join when it works for them. \nAll of our program are offered cost-free. Tea and cookies served as well. No materials needed. \nRegistration is required for this small group.
