SUMMARY:Whistler Care Giver Support Group
DESCRIPTION:This group provides caregivers with an opportunity to take a break\, share a cup of coffee and meet with other caregivers. All caregivers welcome\, regardless of the disease or disability of the person they are taking care of. SUMMARY:12th Annual Memory Tree Event
DESCRIPTION:Share a tradition and gather in community for the 12th annual Memory Tree Event. \nThe holidays can prove to be a difficult time of year for anyone grieving. Take time to honour your loved ones that are with us in spirit\, during this evening of love and light. This gathering will be a supportive community event. There will be a candle lighting ceremony\, and a brief memorial for those grieving the death of a loved one. \nCeremony begins at 5:15 pm\, Friday\, November 29th\, at the Squamish Town Hub (behind Cloudburst Cafe). \nCo-hosted by the Sea to Sky Hospice Society and the Squamish Funeral Chapel. \nWe would like acknowledge the generous support of Home Depot for the trees\, our amazing volunteers for installing the lights and to Cloudburst Cafe for the delicious hot chocolate! Thank you\, your support means so much to us! \n
