DESCRIPTION:Do you love reading and are you curious to connect with a compassionate community of readers?\nJoin us on December 21 at 7:00pm for a Winter Solstice Compassionate Community Book Circle! We will be hosted by Little Bookshop located at 38041 2 Ave\, Squamish. \nFeel free to come even if you haven’t read the books! \nFunded by a Compassionate Communities BC CPA Seed Grant\, and organized by the Sea to Sky Hospice Society and their team of volunteers\, this seasonal Compassionate Community Book Circle will discuss learnings and thoughts from books covering topics related to compassion and the Sea to Sky Hospice’s Mission “to promote and provide compassionate care for all Sea to Sky residents with life limiting illness\, and ongoing support (bereavement and grief) for loved ones. \nOur two Winter Reads will be\nBook One\n\nThe In-Between – Hadley Vlahos\n\nBook Two\n\nThe Compassion Project – Julian Abel\, Lindsay Clarke\n\nBooks may be available at the Little Book Shop\, the Squamish Public Library’s interlibrary loan\, the Hospice Library\, or by purchase online. \nRead one or both or simply join us to learn more about who is reading what! \nFor more information or to participate in the poll for the next Winter Solstice Book Circle Meet-Up\, please contact: diana.gunstone@seatoskyhospicesociety.ca or call (604) 892-6051 ext. 5 \n  \nThe Compassionate Community Book Circle is possible through a generous donation from the BC Centre for Palliative Care.
